Terms of Use
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms govern your use of remezpartners.co.uk. They are not our terms of business — those come with your engagement letter, and they take precedence for any work we do for you.
1. Who runs this site
REMEZ & PARTNERS LTD, registered in England & Wales, company number 17328543, registered office 21 Royal Engineers Way, London NW7 1TU. Contact: hello@remezpartners.co.uk.
2. Nothing here is advice
Everything on this site — the guides, the situation descriptions, the HMRC letter checker, the tax and CIS estimators, the filing quiz and the FAQ — is general information. It is written carefully, but it cannot take your circumstances into account, and it is not tax advice.
The calculators give estimates only. They use standard rates and allowances for a single tax year, ignore most reliefs and every personal circumstance, and will not match your actual tax bill. Do not file, pay or decide anything on the strength of a number from this page.
Advice starts when you engage us: a free assessment, then a fixed quote in writing, then a signed engagement letter. Until that letter is signed and our client verification is complete, no client relationship exists and we owe you no duty of care.
3. What we are not regulated to do
So there is no misunderstanding, we do not provide, and nothing on this site should be read as:
- Immigration advice or services of any kind. We are not regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority. We prepare financial documents as factual records drawn from filed returns; whether those documents satisfy the Home Office is a question for you and your regulated immigration adviser, and we will refer you to one.
- Investment, pension, insurance or any other regulated financial advice. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.
- Mortgage advice or arranging a mortgage. We can introduce you to an authorised broker; if we are paid for an introduction we will tell you before we make it.
- Legal services reserved to authorised persons, including conveyancing, litigation and probate.
- Audit or assurance services, or tax avoidance schemes of any kind.
4. Accuracy and change
Tax rates, thresholds and deadlines change, and pages here may lag behind. Rates shown are for the tax year stated. We update the site when we can, but we do not warrant that everything on it is current or complete at the moment you read it.
5. Messages you send us
The "Start now" form does not store anything on this website: it composes a message and opens WhatsApp or your own email app, and nothing reaches us until you press send. Please do not send us passwords, card numbers, or your Government Gateway credentials — we will never ask for them.
Email and messaging are not wholly secure. We take reasonable measures to protect what you send us, but we cannot accept liability for interception or non-delivery in transit.
6. Our content
The text, guides, tools and design of this site belong to REMEZ & PARTNERS LTD. You may read, print and share pages for your own use. You may not republish, sell or reproduce them commercially, or present our material as your own, without our written permission.
7. Links to other sites
Where we link to HMRC, the ICO or anyone else, we do so because it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
8. Availability
We try to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee it, and we may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on its general information — including any decision taken on the basis of a calculator estimate. Nothing here excludes or limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability for work we actually do for you is dealt with in your engagement letter, not here.
10. Fees and VAT
Any price shown on this site is indicative until we give you a fixed quote in writing. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.
11. Privacy and cookies
See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
12. Complaints
If something goes wrong, tell us — our complaints procedure sets out how we handle it and how quickly.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
